 About Middle School

Middle school years can be demanding.  We offer small classes in a nurturing environment.   Our goal is to provide an academic program that will be challenging and prepare students for entrance into the high school of their choice.

There is a sibling discount if more than one child is enrolled at the school.  Payments may be made in full, at the semester or in monthly installments and are due on the first of the month.  A late fee will be incurred if payments are received after the 15th of the month.

Lunch:  A menu is sent home monthly and orders are made on a monthly basis. The cost is $3.00 daily.  Milk and juice are ordered for the year at a cost of $45.00. 

Before & After care:  Child care is provided before and after school at an additional charge.

Dress code:  Middle school students are required to follow the school’s uniform policy.  This is outlined in the handbook.

Textbooks:  Textbooks are provided through tuition.  Books that are lost or damaged will need to be replaced by the student.

 Sports:  HVCS currently offers basketball and cheerleading.  Opportunities for golf, cross country, and bowling are available.

 Field trips:  The students take a 4-5 day field trip each spring.  The destinations are based on a 3-year rotation:  Chicago; Williamsburg and Philadelphia; Gettysburg and New York City.  The cost of this trip is not included in tuition.
